Heather Chickey, owner of Lemon Spalon in the Central West End, referred long-time client Daren Carston to Timmermann Group for a new website design. Daren contacted Timmermann Group and explained that he was in need of a comprehensive website that would enable him to present his weekly message to potential members of his congregation, New Fellowship Testament Church. Pastor Daren also explained that this new website would be used to communicate with the current members of his Church. His previous website was merely a template which could not accommodate the changes he wanted to make and it was extremely important to have a website that could be updated weekly with his message. The professionals of Timmermann Group took Pastor Daren’s changes and vision for a new website into careful consideration.

After researching other progressive church websites and noting the good and bad features of each, Timmermann Group presented a comprehensive solution that exceeded Pastor Daren’s goals. The presentation included a progressive design which incorporated many graphics, an area on the home page where the weekly message could be switched out regularly, and an e-commerce area developed for the Church’s bookstore and online giving. Timmermann Group also presented a forum board to keep the current members of the congregation active on the website by being able to post their thoughts on specific forum topics. Pastor Daren loved the presentation for a new website design and charged Timmermann Group to begin work immediately.

Timmermann Group finished their work in record time, going above and beyond the call of duty by adding a content management system to keep up with daily church calendar, and committed to an on-site presentation and tour of their proposed website to the staff of the New Fellowship Testament Church. The staff was extremely happy and appreciated the new website as much as Pastor Daren. The real test came when Pastor Daren presented the website to the members of his congregation. The church members loved the site and showed their appreciation by posting positive comments on the forum board. Currently, Timmermann Group is working on adding even more features to the site such as streaming video so that church members who cannot make it to mass won’t miss the weekly message.
