“I recently completed the most difficult real estate project I’ve ever been involved with. The Smile Soda Factory presented a unique challenge since the second floor ceiling heights were over thirty feet and I wanted to retain the openness while creating additional living space. The problem was solved by creating units with three, four and even five levels of living space, but then a bigger dilemma presented itself: how to market the units since a written description wouldn’t do the project justice.

I toured the building with the Timmermann Group team, explaining my predicament and giving them a very short deadline to come up with a website solution. They had designed and developed a site incorporating the original Smile Soda logo into the website design and programming in a way that included both the building’s historic past and its contemporary architecture.
